OK .. I also checked in the glue middleware - it doesnt set any mimetype while uploading the attachments.
I will fix that ... but i think it can still be overriden while reading the binary document ..

I've noticed the xml attachments in exist r17081-2 can be accessed via doc function but in exist r18031 this is not possible.
In exist r18031 the attatchments are saved as binary but the xml documents are not binary since they can be viewed  on exide editor. I've tried changing the mimetype to application/xml via exide but it resets it back to application/octstream? Is there a way of saving an xml attachment with the correct mimetype?

Please advise on way forward?
