I have added a configuration validator to the Editor. This checks the active configuration against a set of schemas (currently covering doctypes, sectiontypes and inlinetypes configuration ) and throws up a screen at startup if it encounters any errors. While this is not a guarantee that your configuration is valid, it could point out basic mistakes made in the the structure of the configuration. Eventually, I will add more semantic checks into the infrastructure ...
