Hello Fruit & Nut Club!

Join us next Friday, February 20th from 2:30pm to 5:00pm for an afternoon of fresh air, fruit trees, and fruitful learning at the Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park.

πŸ“ Location: 30 George Washington Carver Avenue
πŸ…ΏοΈ Parking: Stephens-Lee parking lot

Asheville Edibles Coordinator Kelly Applegate will guide participants through the art and science of intensive orchard management and fruit tree pruning. This is a learn-by-doing workshop, so you will roll up your sleeves and help prune the edible park’s trees while gaining practical skills you can use at home. 🌳

Snacks, water, and tools will be provided. If you have your own pruning tools, feel free to bring them along. The more the merrier.

This event is in collaboration with the City of Asheville Sustainability Department.

Hope to see you there!

Helen
