Hello Fruit & Nut Club!
We are excited to announce a community workday on Friday, July 12 from 2:30 to 5pm at Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park! ποΈ Convenient parking is available at the Stephens Lee Recreation Center, 30 George Washington Carver Ave. π
Starting in August, weβll return to our regular workdays on the third Friday of each month from 2:30pm to 5pm. π
Leading the charge is the amazing Kelly Applegate from Bountiful Cities! π We'll have plenty of tools and hand sanitizer, but feel free to bring your own gloves, loppers, pruners, or weeding tools. π§€βοΈ
Get ready for a rewarding day with activities like: π Mulching π³ Gentle tree and shrub pruning ποΈ Trash collection π± Invasive species removal π· Seasonal planting
Expect hands-on demonstrations and a guided tour of the park! π οΈπΏ
