Hey Randal!

There's a Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park Workday on Friday, January 16 from 2:30pm to 5pm. Kelly Applegate will be assisting us. Her email is ke...@bountifulcities.org if you have any questions.

Hope things are going well!

I think some Healing Roots Design staff members will attend.

I just got this message from Kelly:

Despite this gloomy day it seems as though the sun will come out tomorrow, Friday, January 16, 2026 at our Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park workday 2:30-5:00pm! The park is located at 30 George Washington Carver Avenue (across from Stephens-Lee).

We hope you will join us in weeding, mulching, and beautifying the park! Come learn about our local urban food forest. Water, snacks, and tools will be provided. Just bring your happy selves! We hope to see you there!

This event is in collaboration with the City of Asheville’s Sustainability Department.
