Spring Edible Park Workdays! 🌿 Come join us!

Hi Fruit & Nut Club,

We hope you’ll join us for our Dr. George Washington Carver Edible Park Spring Workdays!

These gatherings are a chance to get your hands in the soil and help the park flourish. We’ll be weeding under the trees, planting seeds, and beautifying the space together. If you’re curious about orchard care, food forests, or the idea of free food growing on public land, this is a great way to learn by doing.

Workday Dates:

• Friday, April 17 | 2:30–5:00 PM
• Friday, May 22 | 2:30–5:30 PM

Please note: The May workday will take place on the 4th Friday of the month, instead of the usual 3rd Friday.

Water, snacks, and tools will be provided, and no experience is necessary—just bring yourself and a willingness to dig in. Feel free to bring your own tools and gloves if you'd like. 

This event is in collaboration with the City of Asheville Sustainability Department.
