Dear Tare Muke Members,
As a supporter of the West Africa Research Association myself, I am inviting you to step up and support WARA as they compete in the Giving Common Challenge. I am asking to make a contribution also to this cause, to show that, even in these tough economic times, WARA supporters are serious about investing in the future of African Studies.

Out of 547 Boston area non-profits competing in the Giving Common Challenge, WARA is in 4th place! This is an amazing feat, considering that they are competing against organizations with entire development departments. The Boston Foundation, which has the ability to give $150,000 to this challenge and to make other grants throughout the year, sees this. A great BIG THANK YOU for showing the Boston Foundation that the African Studies community does exist and that they should be looking our way!

But the challenge is not over yet! There is still one more day to go. Show your commitment to African Studies and research funding by donating to WARA today before 8pm EDT.   If you haven’t given yet, now is the time to do it. Your $25 can help earn WARA $25,000!

Donate now, click here.
