Pixie follow-up

Brian & I took Pixie to her new home last night.  She seemed quite comfortable already!  They are interested in obedience school & have bought a gentle leader.  Brian took some pics of them with her that we can put on the BURN website.  They are on facebook so I plan to keep in touch with them, and I gave them one of our cards with Lakeside Veterinary's number & my cell.  They did ask when she would need shots again.  I have the signed application & payment.  I am so excited for our first placement!  Ready for another foster, though...house is quiet with just one dog...

This is so exciting Jane! Thank you, I am so happy for you and BURN! I know that adopting out a foster (especially one as sweet as Pixie) can be bitter sweet, but she is a saved girl and now you can help save more. Hugs!!

I have Pixie's shot records and microchip paperwork. If they live up near here, they can pick that up at the clinic anytime!

They do - they are in Fairfield.  I will let them know!  I forgot about the microchip.  They asked me if I recommended Lakeside (& of course I said yes), so I imagine they will go to you anyway.

Awww...tripod!  I wonder if it will be able to fit Ruca's whole head in its mouth like Pixie did.  :[ ]

This is great news!!!  Way to go Jane, and everyone else.  We need to be sure we get her picture and adoption story on the website and maybe even post something on facebook. :)
