Maybe we could try the middle one, Segar...said he doesn't get along with "some" dogs, but Ruca is pretty chill so it might be worth a shot.  Not sure we are experienced enough to be a "good human leader" for #3.  I'm not far away working in Bath, I could go see him.

I suppose I could relax my long-standing "No Segar" policy in this case.

Have they been SAFER tested already?  I think Seager might be the best option if we have a foster home available, but this might be difficult if he really doesn't get along with dogs.  Do we have a foster home in waiting?
 
PS Cheri Stackpole placed her bully and could probably take a foster for us, however she does have two other dogs so not really an option for this situation.

Update:  We think Riley might be a better fit...Ruca was a little snippy with Segar when he got intense...he is very strong & may be better for a more experienced handler.  He did great with our friends American Bulldog, though.  Hoping to meet Riley this weekend.
