List Rules -- Please Read

List Rules:

1. All posted content should be On-Topic. None should be Off-Topic.

On-Topic: Related to Conventional Pistol shooting and competitive pistol shooting activities including fundamentals, equipment, ammo/reloading, NRA/CMP and other sanctioning body rules, items for sale/trade, match information. Responses to off-topic messages should be sent off-list, via personal email. Occasional exceptions are made for a brief notice without opinion or further discussions to make shooters aware of gun laws or pending legislation that may affect them.

Off-Topic: Messages not directly related to Conventional Pistol shooting or competitive pistol shooting and related subjects. In particular, off-topic includes "test" messages, links to web site polls, jokes, "Amen/me too" one-liners, political posturing and chest-thumping, and virus "warnings" (almost always hoaxes) are not allowed. Bullseye-L is not the place for personal manifestos or preaching to the choir. Insults and foul language are way out of bounds. Putting "Off-Topic" in your subject line does not negate this policy.

2. Remain respectful and civil in all communications on and off list with fellow list members.

3. Do not respond to private or off-list messages by posting the response to the list.

4. Digest subscribers must change the subject line to respond to an individual topic. Subjects that include "Digest" will result in an immediate change of the subscriber to receive all list messages individually.

5. When replying to a topic you may quote relevant portions of a previous post for reference... please keep them short. You must delete/remove all previous list footers

 

6. Signature/Tag lines -- no blatant advertising; the font size should be the same or smaller than the message; limit the number of lines after your name; keep the content appropriate for our community

7. Please do not give Off-Topic or offensive messages further attention by responding on the list. Use your Delete key and/or report the issue to our list moderators: bullseye-l...@gmail.com

8. File attachments may include images or pdf documents to be sent to the list for distribution. If your file sizes are very large, please contact the moderators for advice and assistance.
