Hunting for moose in Alaska

Hello all! I have been hunting with my family for some time now in Fairbanks, AK.

My husband and father in law have both shot a moose , but I can't seem to get one in the freezer myself. I think it would be great for the mom of the family to knock one down!

Please give me any advise you have if you have had luck hunting moose.
