The short answer? Unfortunately not. In fact, Chicago P.D. (along with Chicago Fire and Chicago Med) is currently on a three-week hiatus. New episodes will not be airing on January 25, February 1, or February 8, 2023.

No word just yet on what to expect for the rest of the season, but the latest episode, "I Can Let You Go," was a big one for Upton (Tracy Spiridakos). Fans saw her learn that Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) is not coming home anytime soon, a sign that their marriage is definitely in trouble.

Originally called the Landsat Data Continuity Mission, Landsat 8 launched on February 11, 2013. In this episode of Eyes on Earth, we talk about the 10th anniversary of Landsat 8 being in orbit and its value to the remote sensing community. While we cannot predict the future, it does look promising that Landsat 8 can sustain that continuity for more years to come.

"Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" is a television film that served as the series finale of the American television series M*A*S*H. The 2 1/2-hour episode first aired on CBS on February 28, 1983, ending the series' original run. The episode was written by eight collaborators, including series star Alan Alda, who also directed.

The episode's plot chronicles the final days of the Korean War at the 4077th MASH; it features several storylines intended to show the war's effects on the individual personnel of the unit and to bring closure to the series. After the ceasefire goes into effect, the members of the 4077th throw a party before taking down the camp for the last time. After tear-filled goodbyes, the main characters go their separate ways, leading to the final scene of the series.

On the night the episode aired, large areas of California (particularly the San Francisco Bay Area) suffered power outages due to unusually stormy winter weather, which prevented many viewers from watching the series finale.[6]

In the United States, the episode drew 105.97 million total viewers[7] and a total audience of 121.6 million,[8] more than both Super Bowl XVII and the Roots miniseries. The episode surpassed the single-episode ratings record that had been set by the Dallas episode that resolved the "Who Shot J.R.?" cliffhanger. From 1983 until 2010, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" remained the most watched television broadcast in American history,[4] passed only in total viewership (but not in ratings or share) in February 2010 by Super Bowl XLIV. As of 2010, it stands as the most-watched finale of any television series,[7] as well as the most-watched episode as of 2018.[9]

As M*A*S*H was one of the most successful shows in TV history, in order not to lose the franchise completely, CBS quickly created a new series, AfterMASH, that followed the postwar adventures of Colonel Potter, Max Klinger, and Father Mulcahy in a stateside veterans hospital. Despite wide popularity in its premiere episodes, script problems and constant character changes led to a sharp decline in viewers, and the show was canceled by CBS after only two seasons. Another would-be spin-off, W*A*L*T*E*R, was a pilot made in 1984 that was never picked up. It starred Gary Burghoff, who reprised his M*A*S*H character.

"Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" was not initially included in the syndication package for M*A*S*H's final season; however, in 1992, the episode made its syndication premiere in time for its 10th anniversary. Local stations aired it as a part of a Movie of the Week.[10]

During a La Nina event, the changes in Pacific Ocean temperatures affect the patterns of tropical rainfall from Indonesia to the west coast of South America. These changes in tropical rainfall patterns affect weather patterns throughout the world. These effects are usually strongest during the winter months when the jet stream is strongest over the United States. As shown in the image below, La Nina episodes in the winter months feature a wave-like jet stream flow across the United States and Canada, which causes colder and stormier than average conditions across the North, and warmer and less stormier conditions across the south. Historically for this part of the Midwest, fall tends to be warmer and drier than normal while winters tend to be wetter than normal. However, there are also many other complicated factors in the atmosphere and oceans that can also impact our weather patterns.

After looking at research based on a national scale and the CPC's winter outlook, a local research study was completed to look at how past La Nina events affected the local area. Since 1950, there have been 14 documented La Nina episodes. Because of a limited dataset and local climate variability, these results alone cannot predict exactly what will happen during the current La Nina episode, but it is interesting to note the trends. Monthly average temperatures, precipitation, and snowfall data for each episode was compiled for Fort Wayne and South Bend. The graphs that follow show the departure from normal of all the La Nina episodes combined.

In general, Fort Wayne was warmer than normal for all months except March, May, and November which were colder than normal during La Nina episodes. In terms of precipitation, the months of January, February, May, August, and October were wetter than normal while the remaining months were drier than normal. Snowfall was below normal for the months of January, February, April and October-December and above normal in March.

In general, South Bend was warmer than normal for all months except February, March, and May which were colder than normal during La Nina episodes. In terms of precipitation, the months of January, February, April, August, and October were wetter than normal while the remaining months were drier than normal. Snowfall was below normal for the months of January, February, November, and December and above normal in March, May and October.

The 2010-2011 winter season was cooler and drier than normal but snowfall was above normal at both Fort Wayne and South Bend as a moderate to strong La Nina episode was occuring. The 2010-2011 winter proves why you cannot use forecasts of precipitation to imply potential snowfall amounts.

Through February 25th, the 2011-2012 winter season was warmer and wetter than normal but had below normal snowfall at both Fort Wayne and South Bend as a weak to moderate La Nina episode was occuring. Like the previous winter, the 2011-2012 winter proves why you cannot use forecasts of precipitation to imply potential snowfall amounts.
