Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.

I have already disconnected and reconnected my Spotify and Shazam accounts, deleted old/empty "My Shazam Tracks" playlists, performed a clean reinstall of Spotify, reinstalled Shazam, restarted my iPhone, cleared my Spotify cache, and offloaded both Shazam and Spotify in my iPhone Settings.

When I do all of that and re-link my Shazam and Spotify accounts, the "My Shazam Tracks" playlist has 0 songs in it, even after hours of waiting for it to update. In the Shazam app, I have 665 Shazams.

That is a really big bad issue for UX. That means my love is turning to hate after this problem on spotify. Please solve this manuel sync problem. Open in a way to auto sync for old and new ones. Because of issues on internet i have lost my old playlist. How could i add hundreds of songs manuelly!!! Solve it please, or take care yourself... Bye!!!!

What a terrible UX. I followed the instructions I found everywhere online and just deleted my shazam list of 200+ songs only to stumble across this post while trying to find out why they weren't re-syncing. A large portion of my favorite songs I cycle through were on the list and now they're gone unless I find the time to manually add all them, which will never happen. Would much rather of needed to have manually added new songs while keeping the ones that were sync'd. Huge miss for Spotify, hope they fix this. It's hard to believe it has been over a year.

Is anyone other than myself experiencing an issue where you have linked your spotify account to your shazam account for the automatic tag playlist that sends tagged songs from shazam to your "My Shazam Tracks" playist on your spotify account? (See attatched picture for example)

In the past this link worked splendidly for listening to songs I heard on the radio, with the exception of occassionally adding a song more than once. Now, my Playlists are cluttered because Shazam is spam creating new "My Shazam Tracks" playlists nearly every time I tag a new song.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I've already tried unsyncing my accounts, moving all songs into one "My Shazam Tracks" folder and then reconnecting accounts, but I ended up with the same result.

Yep. It was great until now. I read it potentially could be that because shazam has become Apple's primary music tagging App Shazam's service to other music companies like spotify may be reduced in quality. That's a hunch though; I don't know how accurate it is.

That's why I made this post. I'm looking to find out if there is a solution to this. I'll let everyone know if I find one, but until then I've just unlinked my shazam account to spotify, and consolidated all of the My Shazam playlists into one.

Trying to solve this, a few days ago I disconnected from my Spotify account within Shazam (iOS 9), and I deleted the (around 5) new "My shazam tracks" playlists, after I transfered all their songs into the initial "My Shazam tracks" playlist, and I reconnected to my spotify account (within Shazam iOS app).

Adding my voice to this one too - a new Shazam playlist is created for every track that I tag, even though I add the tracks through Shazam to my "Favourites" playlist, it still creates a new Shazam playlist.

I just wanted to let you know that we released a new Shazam update which should fix the Spotify issue. When you Shazam a song, it will create a new playlist and then all of your future Shazams will go into that playlist. Let me know if you run into any issues.

The tread you posted in is quite old so we moved your post to a new one, we hope you don't mind. This is a really cool feature and it would be a shame to not be able to use it, lets look at this together and see what can be done!

For starters we would suggest to try to re-link Spotify and Shazam and see if that will help out. Could you let us know in more detail how exactly the feature is not working, with details we'll be able to help out much easier. If you see something that doesn't look right, send us a screenshot.

I am trying to discover EMC devices. When I do a quick discovery shazam is not picking up anything on that IP, however, when I use ping using command probe it returns with a successful result. This is what is being returned by shazam:

Lesson 1: Shazzam and ping are doing two different things. Ping simply tests "can I reach it with an ICMP (ping)". This may or may to return based on how your network devices are set up. Shazzam is asking "Do you have an open port on SSH, WMI, or SNMP?" Have you checked if your EMC device has any of those ports configured/open?

When you say " When I do a quick discovery shazam is not picking up anything on that IP", do you mean Shazzam is be executed, and then discovery completes and does not move onto classification? If so then it is all about ports being opened on the target that are being tried by default by Shazzam as Chuck mentions. You can navigate to the IP Services module from the left navigation menu to understand specifically what ports are being tried for the various Port Probes or refer to the documentation.
