Hello: Is there a way to turn off all of the scanners in Bulk Extractor without having to click them off one-by-one? Is there something in the back-end whee the default can be set that they are all off, and you only check the ones you need to be turned on?

Thank you - Dan

Yes. -xall should turn them all off.
This is in the documentation.

You can also use -E to enable exclusive. The documentation says that it disables every scanner except the one you specify.

Thank you for teh prompt reply Simon. I should have been more specific in my inquiry.

We are using the BE Viewer to conduct our work. I was hoping there is a way to tweak a setting in that to have the default as all scanners off.I can't seem to find a setting in the interface or how to accomplish that in the documentation. Thank you!

Hi. THanks for your email.
The BE Viewer is no longer being maintained. I’m glad you have it working! But I think that you will need to manually click or unclick all of the check boxes.

Thanks again Simon. I was just wanting to confirm that, and that I hadn't missed something. Thanks!
