I am forwarding some important information about the BSBS conference for
those of you who haven't received Ludmila's mail.

Dear All,
many thanks for your cooperation and your patience. Please find attached
above the conference registration form and a list of recommended hotels in
Bucharest and Veliko Tarnovo. The registration form is also available in pdf

o&gid=386397807974> . The travel costs turned out to be higher than
anticipated but please bear in mind that the full conference fee should also
cover the conference kit, coffee and other refreshments in the coffee
breaks, sightseeing and lunch in Rousse, sightseeing in VT and (depending on
circumstances) 1 or 2 receptions. As you know, we're living in difficult
times.

Our provisional programme is as follows:

(1) The conference is to start in Bucharest on Thursday, 17 June, with
concurrent sessions throughout the day;
(2) 18 June, Friday:  we'll leave for Ruse and Veliko Tarnovo at 9 am; 2
plenaries, lunch and sightseeing in Ruse.

       (3) 19 June, Saturday: concurrent sessions in VT + reception;
       (4) 20 June, Sunday: sightseeing for our guests, BSBS annual meeting
for the Bulgarian participants; the bus should depart for Bucharest at 12
noon or 1 pm.

       We'll e-mail you a detailed programme  - with maps and details about
venues - after the registration deadline.


       Re hotels: I'm sure that you will find more options on the Internet.
VT is a tourist destination and offers a variety of very reasonably priced
hotels. As far as Bucharest goes, the sooner you book, the better.

       Re abstracts: for your convenience, we're planning to collect those
in a book; therefore: please take another look at your abstract; some
abstracts are too long and need to be cut down to the required length (max.
300 words); a couple of people have sent us titles only - while those are
intriguing, may I ask you to e-mail an abstract as well?

       Re signature: if that's too much trouble, please don't bother; the
main thing is to state the date on which you made your payment and any other
details that may be relevant. I've been assured by UniCredit Bulbank that
transfers by credit/debit card should be OK.

       Please do not hesitate to get back to us if you have any problems or
questions.
