Dear BSBS Members and colleagues,
I am forwarding this message upon request of the Turin Conference organizers. I do hope that many of you will find the seminar topics interesting and will participate in that exciting event.
Best wishes for a Happy and Successful New Year,
Maria Georgieva,
BSBS President
Dear Members of ESSE
_10th ESSE International Conference: Call for Papers_
Technical problems at the printers have meant delays in sending out the latest issue of /The European English Messenger/, and there is a danger that many copies will have got caught up in the Christmas mail. To ensure that all ESSE members are aware of the arrangements for the forthcoming conference in Turin, we are sending out this e-mail circular to draw attention to the deadline for proposals for papers, which is January 31. In the light of the problems with publicising the deadline this may be extended, but we do ask all prospective presenters to try to keep to the deadline if possible, or at least to contact seminar convenors to let them know that a proposal is on the way.
As has been the practice in the past, prospective presenters who do not need to be members of ESSE should find a seminar in which their paper might fit, and send a proposal to the convenors of that seminar.
Details of the seminars can be found at http://fire.rettorato.unito.it/esse2010/public/doc/SEMINARS.pdf
The conference website, with full details of the academic programme, the conference arrangements, fees, accommodation, etc is at http://www.unito.it/esse2010/home/index.php?contenuto=home
We look forward to seeing you in Turin!
Giuseppina Cortese
Conference Organiser
Please check and let me know whether the papers which I delivered at the
8th and 9th annual conferences of BSBS in Sofia and Plovdiv have been
pubished. If so, please quote the full information on these two titles.
Thank nyou in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Fr Pavel Stefanov
