February ~ Mock Trial Coaching
MAHA Board members are coaching a Mock Trial Team participating in the Mass Bar Association Mock Trial Tournament for High Schools in Massachusetts.
April ~ Panel of Judges
Members/Law Students will have the opportunity to hear Latino/a Judges discuss how they arrived at their respective career paths, the challenges they faced and the rewards of the role they play in our community.
May ~ Law Day
Members will have the opportunity to volunteer in Mass Public Schools for a day to interact with students and teach them about our legal system.
July/August ~ Red Sox Game
September ~ Annual Reception
MAHA will host Las Primeras, an evening reception honoring a Latina Legal Professional who has been the 'first' to accomplish a breaking pathway in her career.
October ~ Mentor/Mentee Meet & Greet
Members will be paired with a Boston Public High School student to begin a meaningful mentoring relationship.
November ~ Attorney Panel
Panelists will discuss current issues in Immigration law and discuss Padilla and its impact.
December ~ Holiday Party
Ongoing ~ Dress For Success
Future Event ~ Reunion For Past Members
