Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh,

Alhamdu lillaah, with the help of Allaah, thereafter with your contributions, the major milestones set forth last year for the OAU Masjid construction project were largely achieved. With donations of about N60M from our brothers and sisters, many tasks, including the award of the contract for tiling the entire masjid, were accomplished.

The estimate for the next phase of the project is about N40 million which will include structural work on the external stair case, painting, and electrical/mechanical installations. Towards this, the theme for this year's Ramadan fundraising is "40 Million in 40 Days". The goal is to raise N40 Million between 1st of Ramadan and 10th of Shawwal this year.
