AlhamduliLLaah the greatest task is behind us, the masjid is in a usable state now. However, additional work is required to ensure full utilization of the Masjid.
Below is a list of the immediate needs on the project which we need to focus on this year
A. Ceiling Fans and installation: Installation of ceiling fans in the prayer areas, offices and foyers.
B. Painting of entire Masjid: Painting the prayer areas, offices, wudhu areas, foyer and the external walls
C. Electrical Fittings: Installation of electrical bulbs, sockets and lighting fixtures inside and outside the Masjid
D. Completion of Wudhu Areas: Fixing of sinks and taps as well as tiling
E. Burglar Proofing: Metal burglar proofing of the first floor windows for security reasons
F. Minarets: Completing both minarets which also serve as staircase and exit doors
Other less immediate needs include
• Construction of Drainage around the mosque
• Air conditioners
• Car park
• Landscaping
• Water system (well and treatment)
