Hello Sir/Madam,

Thank you for providing me the opportunity to apply for the project. 

I am "Shyam" 2nd year engineering student in the field of Information and Technology  from SSEC, Bhavnagar.

I would like to work on your project "University Campus Portal" as my interest lies in the area.

Technical Skill-sets:

1. I received a scholarship and got enrolled in the Full Stack Web Development Specializations of Cousera Community from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology which includes the following courses:

• HTML,CSS,JAVASCRIPT
  
• Front-End Web UI Frameworks And Tools
  
• Front-End Javascript Frameworks Using AngularJS
  
• Server Side Development using NodeJS 
• Multiplatform Mobile App Development with Web Technologies
• A Capstone project which would be given by the Coursera Community at the end of all the above courses.

Currently I have completed the 2 courses listed from the above list and would complete the other courses by June'2016.

2. Worked on technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap on my previous assignments.

3. I have been performing coding using Python since last 6 months.

4. Currently, Learning web tools such as Bower, Node.js, NPM

5. Have a good understanding of Raspberry pi, C++ and MYSQL.

Projects:

1. Two responsive front-end works "A Restaurant Website" and "Steel Fabrication Website" using the HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, BOOTSTRAP

2. Build two games Color-Guessing Game and Odd-one Out using Javascript and HTML.

3.Developed games like Z-RiceRocks, Tic-Tac-Toe, Black-Jack and Ping-Pong in the Code Skulptor which is an interactive Python programming environment that allows Python code to be run directly in the browser.

Moreover, I have made desktop based applications i.e. "Calculator" using the tkinter library of Python.I have some experience working on the python.

4. Currently working on "Home Automation" project under my college assignment which uses Raspberry Pi.

I would request you to please consider my application, also suggest areas which i need to work upon to fulfill the project requirement.

Hey Shyam,

Thanks for your introduction. You would need to submit a proposal to Google for applying for GSoC with BuildmLearn. I will suggest you to go through this page for more details on how you can submit your proposal:

Unless you submit a proposal to Google, there is no way you can participate in GSoC.
