Hello,
My name is Muhammad Asher Anjum. I am a sophomore a Lahore University of Management Sciences with Computer Science as my major. I have considerable experience with android, windows, and web app development. I have worked with Google Maps API as well as some libraries  for Open Street Maps. I also have experience with computer vision and character recognition.

I have a bunch of different Ideas for both the apps, below are a few of these:

- Learn From Maps
-- One of the obvious features would be find a place, different info and hints and be provided to aid in the search like what the place is famous for, maybe references from pop culture or images etc. Apart from helping them find the palace this info would also help increase kids knowledge about that particular place. And since it is for kids and we can take inspiration for hide and seek and include feedback like "colder" or "warmer" depending on how close they are.
-- Also another interesting idea would be to construct quizzes like a quest (complete with a story), starting form the user country of origin we go around the globe exploring popular places and sites. Each place would be like a mini challenge and could include various questions exploring the location it self, cause after all geography is not just knowing where something is, it is also important to know about that particular location.
-- Of course each of these quests will have increasing difficulties, new quests may be download (questions regarding locations can be auto generated but stories for the quest will have to be created).

- Handwriting Practice (Write Along)
-- We can incorporate the ever popular connect the dots i.e different characters would star off with a number of dots to be connected they will act like a guide ans the level progress the dots will become less and less until eventually the user will be able to write the character or word (in case of joined cursive writing) on his/her own.
-- Again since we are dealing with kids it important to make things fun, for that we can include something like an animated mascot, who will give cheers and feedback.

Although I am interested in both the application would you advise that I pick only one for my proposal.
I am almost done with my proposal, right now I have included both of these ideas, I will be submitting it for review soon.

Hi Asher

Thanks for your interest.

I think they are good ideas.. however note that you only have 3 months for implementing and you should propose only what can fit your time & skillset.

- Handwriting Practice (Write Along)

Sure, we have had similar ideas in some proposals.

Although I am interested in both the application would you advise that I pick only one for my proposal.

Choose the one that interests you the most, more importantly, choose the one that you can complete.

I am almost done with my proposal, right now I have included both of these ideas, I will be submitting it for review soon.

Technically, you should only include one project idea per proposal. If you wish to submit multiple ideas - submit separate proposals.
