Hi there,

This year GSoC was a great success for BuildmLearn. We are looking to apply for another Google program called 'Google Code-in'.

For those who do not know about Google Code-in: Google Code-in is a contest for pre-university students (e.g., high school and secondary school students ages 13-17) with the goal of encouraging young people to participate in open source. Read more details here: https://developers.google.com/open-source/gci/

To apply for this program we need to put together a task-list. The tasks need to be doable by school students (13-17 years) and can be in any of the following categories:

- Coding
- Documentation / Training
- UI
- Outreach / Research
- Quality Assurance

Participation in this program could be a great way to engage with school students, get feedback on our system and get long time community members.

We have put together a form where everyone can submit tasks. Please feel free to submit tasks related to exiting projects there: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Aej7169oVKC2FwIG__DoJo-vQ-VjZLpV3f62yT8W74Y/viewform

We can add more tasks later if we are selected but the deadline for having a good selection of tasks is on 10th November.

If you wish to mentor during Code-In, please let me know. Here is some information about mentoring: https://developers.google.com/open-source/gci/resources/mentor-and-orgadmin-info

Any other questions, please ask.

All the best,
Pankaj.
