Hi , I would like to propose an app idea .I thought about the following mobile application,it would be called as:
Learn English App :
The app would consist of following sections :
a.Dictation :The user would be asked to plugin their headphones and listen to an informative small passage from their own textbooks of history, geography, biology etc.As user listens each sentence they would be required to type .The user can adjust the speed of spoken text .Once the passage is written it would be checked for errors such as spellings, punctuations and the user would be graded.

b.Comprehension : The user would be presented with a passage from their own books and would be asked several questions.

c.Grammar:The user would be asked grammatical questions for e.g to identify parts of speech and several other things.

More such options can be added to the app.Every time user attempts any section the progress will be tracked and based on that the difficulty of questions would be scaled.
So its a very simple idea nothing fancy, sufficient time can be invested to make UI interesting and interactive. There are many such apps but all have been tagged with competitive exam names .I want to develop an app thats more generic and it would be related to your academics.I would like to know your (mentors and others as well ) thoughts on this.

Thanks for your ideas. I like them. But unfortunately we are not likely to accept any new ideas over existing ideas :-) Sorry. This has been discussed in the group before.

I would suggest you pick up an idea from our ideas page that interests you and suggest any enhancements to them or propose how well can you execute them.
