I am writing this to express my interest in "Porting the Toolkit to Ubuntu and Mac OS".

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Vipul Aggarwal. I am a third year student of Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering) pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology.
I am also working as head computer vision developer in University's research project UAS DTU. Thus I have been working on segmentation, recognition and localization of targets. I have a decent experience in OpenCV and other libraries like Gphoto2, GNU Scientific Library, and I also developed a user friendly GUI on Qt framework.

I have a decent experience with QT and am proficient in C/C++.

I feel my capabilities are appropriate for this task.

Thanks for introducing yourself Vipul.

We would suggest you to have a look at our code on github and analyse the action points to port the toolkit to non-Windows Platforms. The proposal you submit to Google must contain how you plan to achieve these action points.

Please ask here if you need any help on compiling the project, etc. We suggest you use Qt Creator as your IDE.
