Hello Everyone,

This is Pankaj Kumar, I'm 4th Year B.tech student at IIT Madras, Computer Science and Engineering Department.
I was looking forward to contribute to BuildmLearn Project during GSoC this year.
I am interested in the project involving porting the toolkit to Linux and Mac, I feel it would be a great move as it'll allow access to the toolkit to a large number of people. Specially porting to Linux, as a lot of schools and colleges use Linux and Free Softwares.

About me:
I have been a KDE developer and have contributed to digiKam and Caligra, so I have a good knowledge of C++ and Qt.
I have participated in Season of KDE in 2012 and have also participated in GSoC 2013 as a Mentor for KDE organization.
This year i'm relatively free so i'm applying as a student.
I have already done porting work before. MOOL (http://dos.iitm.ac.in/projects/MOOL/) is project from my college in which we are porting the Linux Kernel to C++, my contribution was to ported the ext4 filestem from C to C++.
I own a Mac which I dual boot to Linux and OSX, so I can port and test the application for both the platforms without any problem.

I know I'm starting out a little late, as Student application period has already begun. I was little busy with college exams lately. But this wouldn't be problem.

So let me know if there is anything specific you would want me to know about the project or if you have any questions.

Thank you :)

Thanks for introducing yourself. It's good to see that you already have some experience with Qt. Please submit your proposal (or draft proposal for review if you finish in time).

It's better late than never. Technically, you still have time to research, draft proposal and review. If you have any specific questions about the project please ask.
