hi,

I am Ayush Agrawal, currently in 3rd year doing my engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. My skill-sets are c/c++, Qt , HTML/CSS , javascript.

I have worked on two Qt projects in the past.
  1. Attendance-Widget - This was basically a desktop widget to scrape the attendance of student from my college portal and displaying it.  https://github.com/agrawalayush92/Attendance-widget
  2. Multiplex Management System - This was an application that i made as a project for a subject in college. The code is mostly all front-end based. I used sqlite3 for storing all the information. I will upload the code on github ASAP.
I am very interesting to apply for the project "Porting the Toolkit to Linux and Mac OS". I have downloaded the BuildmLearn toolkit and used it to create sample quiz and flashcards.
On clicking the "browse to choose image" button for creating a flashcard, its letting me select only ".png" type photos. Should i report this as a bug? I will go through the codebase today and try to understand it.

Regards,

Ayush Agrawal.

Hi Ayush,

Thanks for your introduction.

I am very interesting to apply for the project "Porting the Toolkit to Linux and Mac OS". I have downloaded the BuildmLearn toolkit and used it to create sample quiz and flashcards.

Have you worked on either platforms earlier? Linux / Mac OS? I would suggest you go through previous discussions in the group about the porting idea, there have been several discussions already.

I can confirm that this is by design. We allow to select on PNG images as of now.
