Hi all,

the BuildmLearn project immediately captured my interest while I was browsing the GSoC accepted organizations. That's because I have a natural tendency to help others. I almost live for it and that's what makes me love education, software development and sensors: education because it aims at exploiting the potential of single individuals who can change everyone's future; software development because even the smallest piece of code is aimed at providing someone with a solution to a problem; sensors because they bridge software and real-life events. Consequently, bringing education and sensor-based software development together has been in my mind since some time and it is the reason why I love the BuildmLearn project already as it is and also can see a lot of potential in it.

In particular, I liked the sensor data visualization idea that you listed among the GSoC ones, of course. I am going to submit a proposal that is based on that idea, although going a little further in a direction that I truly believe could help teacher and I would love to implement as much as I'd have loved to use it as a child.

re. who i am. I am a last year PhD student in Computer Science at the INSIGHT Centre for Data Analytics, National University of Ireland, Galway, on Modeling Sensor Data.

Thanks a million and keep up the great work! ;)

Hi Myriam

Thanks for your introduction and the kind words. Your CV seems really interesting!

It's great to know that you are interested in the sensor application. Let me know if you have any specific questions and how we can help you!

Btw, if you have drafted your proposal in time, you can request a review here: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/buildmlearn/droaQTxy7aU/L1aQ_aJYxSUJ
