Fasih 'Little Java' Khatib
Hi, there! My name is Fasih Khatib. I am located in Mumbai and currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from University of Mumbai. I also have a Diploma in Computer Technology and I study from courses on Coursera, if they fit my University schedule.
I have finished the “Creative Programming for Digital Media & Mobile Apps” course offered by University of London via Coursera. You may have a look at my certificate here: https://www.coursera.org/records/GHnSK3xcMAdfz2Pq.
I also finished the course “Human Computer Interaction” offered by University of California, San Diego via Coursera. However, I could not get a certificate as I was a couple of points short of the required minimum.
My final-year project in my Diploma course was a screen recorder made using Java Swing and Xuggler API. The aim of the project was to make a light weight screen recorder that would run without requiring installation and offers the most commonly used features like selecting what part of the screen to record, the frame rate of the generated video, etc.
After finishing my Diploma, I developed interest in a variety of Java-related technologies like Android, JavaFX and Groovy. I have made an app called “Podcastr” for my personal use. It lets me watch my favorite podcasts on my phone. Since I haven’t released it on Play Store, all I can do is link you to a few screenshots of the app; I do plan to redo the app the release it on Play Store in the near future.
I am currently learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
