Hi, I am a student of NIT Goa, and I would love to contribute to this project for Google Summer Of Code 2014. I have experience with c++ and qt and have worked on a project ( with QT) before.
I was wondering ,if I could start off with contributing to this project like bug-fixes or a prototype.

Sure. I would suggest you to install Qt Creator to begin with and get the development environment in place.
Try to import the project and see if you can run it. You can help fix some bugs then.
