Hi,

      I am Manan Dhawan, currently studying in 3rd year in Information and Communication Technology(ICT) at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology(DA-IICT), Gandhinagar.

I am interested in the Android Development Project "Tell the Time". I have developed 2 applications on android and currently working on the third. I have also developed a game using Corona SDK. The code of the android application projects are private, rest of projects can be found at   https://github.com/manandhawan

Tell the Time:
Learn ->
Analog - Flashcards displaying how to see position of the hours and minutes hand. Meaning of the numbers on the clock according to hours and minutes hand.
Digital - 24 hour system
Concepts like half past, quarter past, A.M. , P.M. can be taught
Calendar - Days in a calendar, Number of days in a particular month, week, year, How to determine a leap year.

Quiz ->
Easy
Set Analog to match Digital
Set Digital to match Analog
Stop the clock at a particular time
Number of days in a particular month

Medium
Concepts like half past, quarter past, A.M. , P.M. can be tested
Word problems
Leap year problems
Number of days in a year

Hard
Time Difference (in minutes and hours)
Date Difference (in days, months and years)

Some concepts and questions about the finding the day on which you were born or any particular date(past or future) can also be added later on.

I would be happy to contribute to this great initiative.

That's what we want.

All the ideas sound reasonable to me. Some mock up UI would support your concept. I suggest you go through our guidance page[1] before proposing a draft. Please feel free to ask any specific questions.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I will start making UI sketches today to support my concept.
I read about showing the Project Proposal to the Organization/Mentor before submitting it to google-melange site somewhere in the discussions. Please guide me through that.

Yes, you can send your draft proposal for a review. If you send it early, we can provide our comments.
