Learn from Map Application

Hi Developers,

My name is Thejdeep. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate studies in computer science at National Institute of Technology Karnataka. I would love to build this application for mobile devices as a GSoC project. I see how such an application will help school children develop a deep understanding of geography eventually leading themselves to recognize important places in and around their country or continent. I have build a few Android applications before, using the Android SDK and Phonegap ( Apache Cordova ). I believe we can increase the feature-set of the drafted idea to make it much more learning experience.
