Hello,
I am Ivan Metla, 5th year student from Ukraine.
I have two years experience in developing android applications. One of them is published on Google Play.

GSoC ideas browsing I found a few interesting ideas that interested me: "2. Application to measure sensor data and various parameters - elevation, noise and sound, distance, magnetic field and seismic waves", "3. 'Label the diagram' application", "4. 'Practice handwriting' application".
Which ones are a priority for you?

Do I need to confirm my programming skills? What are the conditions of application in your organization?

Thank you,
Ivan Metla

Hi Ivan,

Good to know you already have some experience in android apps. We would be making the selections on the basis of the proposal and person's past experience on mobile apps. Much depends on the number of student slots that we get from Google - as to how many apps we can accommodate.

You may want to check out this page where we provide some guidance on what to include in the proposal to make it more appealing: https://github.com/BuildmLearn/BuildmLearn-Toolkit/wiki/Guidance-for-Students

It's your choice to create something before GSoC (on the lines of educational mobile apps) and show us your skill set. Please do not start working on the project ideas though before GSoC timelines.

Thank you for your answer.
I participated in the development of application for viewing ECG cardiograms with SCP format for medGrid https://github.com/invercity/mobileCardio
My own app is available in Gogle Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ua.cn.audioremote. It is a client server application. It provides the ability to control music playback on a computer with the social.

I will write my ideas in a group or a personal email to mentor?
