Hello !
BuildmLearn team,

This is Satyam Yadav pursuing B.Tech (II) in computer science at CCS University, Meerut ,India .I have some basic knowledge of developing web apps, and have build some with JqueryMobile, impress.js, and cordova.I also have basic knowledge of python on django and I always indulge learning some new things for linux & FOSS.

I found the application 'Label the diagram' much interesting to go with. I have some ideas about how it would be interesting the children :

  • Labels would be around diagram on edges of screen in bubbles, users have to swipe or draw a line from label to point on the map to be labeled and a line is drawn connecting them.
  • On holding the label like if user is confused a text or speech about that level will work as hint, like 'we see with it' is a hint for 'eye'.
  • On tapping/clicking  on label short description is displayed about that label with an external site link for further reading.
  • According to level of difficulty for higher levels it would be asked to enter the label on taping the point on the diagram.
  • For the kids who can recognize the object but can't spell, it would speak the name of label on touching the particular point of diagram. And on further level a label will flash on screen with speech and users have to touch that part on the diagram and so they can learn the to spell.
hope I can work on it  and would build a app for android, ubuntu-touch, FirefoxOS, and the browsers.

Hi Satyam,

Thanks for your introduction.

Nice ideas, would be great to see something in action.. some UI mockups to start with.

hope I can work on it  and would build a app for android, ubuntu-touch, FirefoxOS, and the browsers.

Sure, try to create a plan of action with your draft proposal: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/buildmlearn/droaQTxy7aU/L1aQ_aJYxSUJ
