Position: Mainframe Tester
Location: Chicago, IL

Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
Review system use cases and functional specifications with the appropriate business analyst.
Responsible for identifying areas for improvements, implementing process improvements and ensuring long term compliance.
Testing background and hands on experience with test tools (TSO, File-Aid, capture/playback, Mercury Interactive).
Strong in JCL and DB2. Should be able to set up environments for test bed.
Clist and Rexx knowledge desirable
Implement the automation process by writing code or scripts
Test plan and Test cases. Set up test environment. Document existing functionality. Document test flow and Business flow for application.
Strong on JCL minimum of 5 years experience.
File aid and strong knowledge of SQL and DB2.
Very strong in IMS/CICS online.
Systems programming knowledge in CICS and IMS preferable.
Experience in ISPF panels, CLIST and rexx programming required.
Should be able understand and read COBOL programs.
Knowledge of online and DB2 programs required.
