We're are at a point where we need to switch from a departmentalization toward the hybrid of one point of contact for owners and a blend of departmentalization to ensure efficiency. This is going to happen in August one way or another.
If any of your are running more than 200 doors and would mind sharing with me how you've arranged employee duties and how that has been successfully applied using Buidium I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to either connect or get your reply in this forum. Anything I can do to assist you with anything we may have to offer I'm happy to share in return.
The goal of the move is to increase the quality of customer service and depth of relationships with our owners by eliminating the CC ALL emails and who's in charge of this questions.
Other than labeling each address with initials I don't know of a way to "block" or group properties so that we can all see all properties yet know who's in charge of each individual property. I know other software permits this feature. I know we can group properties now in buildium but I think that limits visibility for that user as well.
Anyway there's more to it than just buildium as the assignment of employee tasks are vital to have lined out but since we all use the same software we all have the same restrictions regarding this platform.
Anyone willing to share your experience in this forum or collaborate on a short call or email? I'm happy to return the favor for anything that I might have to offer.
