Quick Announcement on Administration

[Buildium User Forum]

Hi there!

I just wanted to make a quick announcement to let folks know that this forum is now the Official Buildium User Forum, and that the original group owners and Buildium have joined forces.

The original admin and those who came up with this idea are still part of the forum, but have offered to hand the forum organization and moderation over to Buildium, which will bring in some tech support and open up a direct line to the company.

Over the next few days there will be a few cosmetic changes to the site, with the addition of some categories and posting guidelines. So please bear with us while we are working on that.

If you have any questions about this hand off, please feel free to shoot Darcy Jacobsen at Buildium (darcyj...@buildium.com) a note and she will be happy to answer them!

Hi,

Speaking for the guys who started this group I would like to clarify that we approached Buildium and offered to turn the group over to them when we heard that they were now ready to start their own group. All we wanted was a place where Buildium users could connect and help each other.

We are excited that this will now be the official group!

Hi everyone!

Just want to let everyone know that no permissions were changed. We did turn off email posting for about an hour, but that was a hiccup that has been corrected. I think everything should be smooth now, and apologize for the flurry of activity. Please continue on as usual and note that the Show All Topics button on the top left of the Welcome box will show all postings without categories. Categories are for browsing and newer folks. 

I'm open to any and all feedback you have, here or in my direct email address below.
