Hi there! We're very happy to have you as part of the Buildium forum!

Here are some guidelines for posting. 

Please note that messages or threads that do not meet the below guidelines may be subject to closure or removal. Members who do not adhere to the below guidelines may also be subject to removal from the forum. Postings must be:

• Family-friendly - Please do not use profane language or content.
• On topic - Forums are for discussions related to property management, real estate and the Buildium solution. Off-topic discussions may be removed.
• Substantive - Your post should contain a question, an answer, or a piece of thoughtful advice. Buildium will reply to thoughtful comments or questions about our product and service, but this forum is not intended as a complaint or even a suggestion box. Please direct complaints to our customer service team at 1-888-414-1988 (Monday-Friday, 9 am to 8 pm EST) and we will take them very seriously. Please add suggestions to our in-app suggestion forum.
• Civil - Buildium encourages active discussions in our forums, even those about controversial Property Management topics, but the forums will only function well if all members feel welcome and safe. We will not tolerate:
• Messages that target any member or moderator for insults, attacks, or personal comments.
• Flame wars between members.
• Challenges to another member's right to participate on our site — if you have concerns, please email the Admin.
• Sarcastic asides or snide comments.
• Posting of contact or personal information about members without permission.
• Posting by those under 13 years. This is a legal requirement.
• Free of solicitations - We welcome referrals, recommendations, and critiques from our members, but we these forums are not for advertisement. Please note this guideline also prohibits external solicitations/invitations to participate in surveys, polls and research.
• Free of HTML, JavaScript and images - While RTF is permitted, our forums will not accept HTML formatting, JavaScript, animated gifs or photo attachments in the body of a forum message. Hyperlinks are okay, but will be reviewed to ensure they are not spam, and removed if they are. 
• Authentic and original - Do not post copyrighted material or content published elsewhere. Especially if it is not yours.  
• Proofread- Please note that we do not offer the ability to edit your post, so proofread carefully for spelling, fix your grammar or take back potentially offensive comments you may have made.  

All first time posters will have their posts moderated by forum admins. 

Buildium reserves the right to remove any post for any reason. We plan to keep removal of posts to a minimum, but we will act to keep our forums welcoming and helpful for all.
