Section 5.5.2 Numeric Types and Expressions
Exercise 3. Periodic Payment on a Loan. How much does a loan really cost?
 
1st sentence: .. p = principal due, .. [correct usage of principal as the capital sum of the mortgage]
2nd sentence: .. the sign of the principle. [should probably be principal here]
3rd sentence: .. With a positive principle, ... AND .. down a principle. [should probably be principal here as well]
 
Also, there is a 'Mortgage woth payments due ...' sentence just a bit further in the text...
