Upcoming Service-Learning Conference

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know about a great
conference this October for the International Association for Research
on Service-Learning and Community Engagement. The call for proposals
is online at http://www.researchslce.org/. There is a specific track
on Global Community Engagement and Comparative Studies, and I would
love to see a great variety of sessions that focus on global/
international service-learning.

I am also thinking of putting together a proposal for a symposium at
the conference, focusing on current trends and future directions in
international/global/immersive service-learning. If anyone is
interested in being a part of that proposal, please e-mail me at
