R code

I am curious whether / not it would be possible to import data
directly into R from Kiva; I noticed some people using R for maps /
visualization, but am not sure how / if there could be an import
function in R, or if this would even make sense...

Given the growing use of R, it would be wonderful to have a Kiva
library, which makes getting this data simple & accessible to the R
community!

I welcome any input / pointing me in the right direction, thanks!
