Hi,

Is there a lag between the API and the loans page?  For example, this loan was funded hours ago
http://www.kiva.org/lend/355575

But the API still says (as of now, 10 PM EST)  status is fundraising.
http://api.kivaws.org/v1/loans/355575.html

This example looks like someone has $50 in their basket (or two people with $25) that is the cause. On Kiva's site, when someone puts the loan in the basket, it becomes unavailable for others and will show as fully funded until either the loan shares come out of the basket or they are purchased.

FWIW - the teams call (e.g. http://api.kivaws.org/v1/teams/1372.xml)
hasn't returned new info for over 12 hours.

oh okay.  this particular loan has been in this situation for nearly a day now.
so someone put the loan in their basket, and forgot to purchase?

There's heaps of problems with the site at the moment Vijay - baskets
not being cleared (now over $79,000 in baskets), loans not being
posted (for over 24 hours now), team statistics not being updated (and
"scoreboards" disappearing), sorts not working - hopefully one of the
engineers will look at it once they get to work this morning.

As for "forgot to purchase", it can also be "closed browser window
with something still in basket", i.e. a casual visitor coming to the
site, pressing a "Lend" button, then deciding that they really didn't
want to actually spend real money, and going on to another site. (And
not realising that what they have done is against Kiva's Terms of
Use.)

P.S. Oops - just saw a post on KivaFriends saying it is a holiday
today in America - if that's correct it may be another 24 hours before
the site is repaired.

Scratch that comment about "loans not being posted" - there have been
(at least) 2 since yesterday morning.

oh okay.  it is just a glitch then, I'm sure the engineers would get to it soon :)
my scripts weren't working correctly, so I thought may be I was doing something
wrong.

thank you for clarifying.
