Hi:

I posed a similar question some months back about the speed of funding
on kiva. This is a more specific question so hopefully someone will
point me in the right direction.

Does kiva have a database showing how long it took for each
entrepreneur to get fully funded on kiva? So let's say I select 50
entrepreneurs who are fully funded, will I be able to know how long it
took each one to get funded. Correct me if I am wrong but some
entrepreneurs get funded within minutes or seconds their profile is
postedon kiva... If you have a database showing the speed of funding,
how can one get access to it. Please help, thanks!

It's possible I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure of the following.

Loans that have funded have a funded_date attribute available via the API.

All loans have a posted_date attribute.

Thus funded_date - posted_date = amount of time to fund.  

Here's an example funded loan: http://api.kivaws.org/v1/loans/397065.xml

<posted_date>2012-02-27T00:30:05Z</posted_date>

<funded_date>2012-02-27T17:51:18Z</funded_date>

Thus, time to fund = 17 hours 21 minutes 13 seconds
