Hi everyone,

I'm having some trobles getting BugsXLA to work properly.
I already set Languages right and changed everything according to the discussions in this group and on the homepage.

Nevertheless, it still doesn't work:
- Windows XP
- Excel 2010 (also tried 2007)
- General settings: Englisch (Great Britain), individual settings (Germany)

Click on Model-Button:
-> "NCstatsFormBugsXLA" (title) + Error message "Types don't match"
after clicking OK
-> Microsoft Visual Basic runtime error "13" - "Types don't match"
after clicking END
-> Microsoft Excel message box "Types don't match"

Click on Preferences-Button:
-> "NCstatsFormBugsXLA" (title) + Error message "Types don't match"

I appreciate any help - Thank you in advance!

Here is what I did to get BugsXLA running:

1.) Install English Version of Windows 7 (64bit) (make sure language settings are "Great Britain")
2.) Install English Version of Excel 2007
3.) Install WinBugs with Copying File Structure as Administrator, installing the update and installing immortal key
4.) run EVERYTHING as administrator (Unzipping, starting programs, etc)
5.) Make sure standard file path is "program file" and WinBugs as well as BugsXLA is in there

I cannot exactly say what made the difference - my guess is the language versions.

As I experienced some error messages and excel-freezing the last days ...
I think the following information could be valuable when working with Win7:

Start Excel via "Run as administrator" !!!
Otherwise WinBugs will not be able to give the information back to Excel.
