Materials for BUGSS Board meeting

Hi all,
I've attached several things for the Board meeting on Friday:
The minutes from the past two meetings-please review so that we can approve them.
A report from the Communications and Community Committee.
Information regarding the Goldseker grant that we were awarded (A copy of the grant is located in the Fundraising folder of the Google Drive for those interested). I spoke with 3 consultants who could lead our strategic planning process-a summary of my discussions
is included (BUGSS Consultants document). I received a Scope of Work from two of them (Hyve and Ann Quinn Consulting) and those are attached as well. I was very impressed in my conversations with Ann Quinn, and my recommendation would be to hire her (and I
don't just say that because she's a Loyola grad! 
) The total cost is ~$10,500. The Goldseker
grant has funded $8,800 of this, meaning the Board would need to commit to the remaining $1,700 since Goldseker requires a cash match from the organization. (FYI, the lowest estimates that I got for more limited consulting work was ~$3500).
Since we have a ton of stuff to discuss at this meeting, if we could receive other updates and reports (and maybe Sarah's report on activities) by email prior to the meeting, that would be great.

I thought the Board Meeting was going to be on Friday April 7.
I agree with spending the match money and getting the advice which may help us going forward.
