Hi all,
We have two representatives from the biotech company BD coming on Saturday between 10 and 2. One is bringing her 7 and 9-year olds to participate in the Agar Art activity, so I wanted to make sure you knew to plan for them Sarah.
They’re interested in BUGSS and what we do and in potentially providing funding. Tom, I believe you said that you couldn’t be there this Saturday? I told Sarah I would help with the Agar Art activity (do we have enough participants and do you need my help?), so if we had 1-2 more Board members who could be here to speak with the BD folks, give them a sense of what we do, and provide them with funding ideas that would be much appreciated since this could be a great opportunity.
Thanks!
Lisa

Deb, if you could be there that would be great. The BD people are Steve Kaiser and Ainy Haider-Shah-some info is here:

Don’t know what their funding interests are-he seems to have a background in K-12 STEM, so they might be interested in iGEM, but when I spoke with him, I just gave him an overview of all of our programming.
Thanks
Lisa
