IMPORTANT, Action Requested: BUGMI Distribution List Registration Request

Hello BUGMI Community,

As you probably have heard me talk about over the past couple of years, BUGMI has been struggling with our communication channels that reach out to all of you, AND keep all of us connected.  I have finally decided to set up a Google account specifically for the statewide Banner User Group of MI (BUGMI) community.  Thanks to Dave Dilno from Southwestern Michigan College for his assistance with this!!

I am reaching you via the OLD BUGMI distro list that I set up several years ago, but I am TRANSITIONING to the new, dedicated BUGMI Google account that Dave and I just set up.
As part of this transition, I need to ask all of you to take (literally) 1 - 2 minutes and complete the Google Form (link below) that will tell me which (if any) BUGMI distro list you want me to add you to.  I am currently providing a separate functional user and a technical user distribution list, and you can be part of one, both, or neither (hopefully not!!).

Thank you for taking this on!  I know that I'm appreciative to be able to have our own forum! 

There are other individuals in our office that I think would like to be on the distribution list.  Can I send them the link to sign up or is there another way you'd rather accomplish this?

And, YES, please do forward the email (i.e. Google form) on to any colleague who would like to be on either distribution list.  That is perfect!

I should have mentioned that in the original email.  The more Banner users who are on these distros, the better it is for all of us!

Note:  I intended to remove ALL of those people who have already responded via the Google Form from this distro.  So, if you are receiving this email, and you already filled out the Google Form below, if you could, please respond DIRECTLY to me at job...@lcc.edu and let me know that somehow I didn't take you off the OLD (current) distro list.

For everyone else who is receiving this email (245 of you), I hate to bother you again so soon after sending the first email, but I am hoping you can take a max of 2 minutes to complete this form.  Please complete the form even if you want OFF of this distro, as that is how you get off too (although, we don't really want to see you leave!!).

Once I have heard from most / all of the people on this distro, I will be building the new distro lists and communicating out to all of you on how to use them.  I would really like to get this completed soon with Ellucian Live right around the corner.
