plugin install on mura site how to test

This morning i set up BugLog with it's own database and tested the html and soap calls from inside the application.  I then set up a Mura site that i have with the plugin but i am not sure how to test to make sure i set it up properly and that it will catch the errors that might be thrown.  is there a way to test from an application if the buglog is actually working with another site?
