Hello, i intend to use Bug4j in my project, but i don't want to leave a config file in the app,
is there a way to setup the user, host and version programatically?

You can use Bug4jStarter to start the agent programatically.

You can start the agent using the Bug4jStarter.
Look at http://code.google.com/p/bug4j/source/browse/trunk/client/src/main/java/org/bug4j/client/Bug4jStarter.java
