Registration ends May 31 Register Now Suffa, learning@SBIA: “The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim” Hadith of the Prophet (SAWS) reported by Tirmidhi   South Bay Islamic Association Announces a Saturday Islamic Learning Program At 2345 Harris Way, San Jose starting Fall 2015    We are launching a Saturday program at our headquarters to serve the needs of students who are looking for quality Islamic instruction. Our Mission is to impart a strong Islamic identity to our youth and complement their regular education to build a strong community for the next generation. Register Now   Classes: K-7, Youth (Grades 8 and above) First classes to be held on August 29, 2015, from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm   Registration open from May 1, 2015 – May 31, 2015.  Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. Classes With Imam Tahir Anwar Every Thursday at 11am | SBIA Headquarters (2345 Harris Way, San Jose) Quranic Tafsir (Sisters Only) A Weekly Tafsir of Selected Surahs | Every Thursday at 11am An introductory course on Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir) of selected chapters. Taught by Imam Tahir Anwar, this course will cover the meanings along with general themes of the selected chapter. It will also guide one to appreciate the depths of the Holy Qur’an and its deep rooted connections to our daily lives. This course also aims to ground one’s understanding of certain Qur’anic chapters as understood by traditional Islamic scholars.
