First Meetup!

Hello, inactive group I have done a terrible job of keeping alive.

I know this initiative has been quiet for some time, but I just wanted to throw this out there: we have our first meeting scheduled. You can find all the juicy details here, on the Meetup page: http://meetu.ps/RSTX I'd really appreciate it if you guys would RSVP through that, as it would help me keep my expectations realistic about who's showing up. Also, it would allow me to possibly (*possibly*) provide some food and beverages. Maybe. The event is 4/28, at 7pm. We're convening in the Buffalo Hackerspace area. Again, info on the Meetup page.

I'm pretty excited about this. I've got a Google engineer lined up who wants to give a presentation to the group and is willing to fly in from San Francisco to do so. No solid date has been set, but I'll get back to you guys on that. For this first meeting, the agenda consists largely of figuring our what we want this group to be, what to do with it, and where to go from here. Would love input or advice. If anyone wants to do a presentation on a topic, feel free to chime in. This first meeting is probably going to just be a melting pot of topics, or it may just be showing off some App Engine/Chrome stuff. All depends on who steps up to the presentation plate.
